This is from "The Cellar Door Sessions" Cd 5 and the "song" is called Honky Tonk:

I have the notes and a position I came up with quickly:

E--16--15--16--15----------------------------------------------
B---------------------18--17--16--15------------------------------
G---------------------------------------17--16--15------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------19--18--17------
A-------------------------------------------------------------------20--
E---------------------------------------------------------------

Here it is slowed down: http://test.mikedodge.com/mvdmusic/mike ... ckslow.wav

It's strange because when the lick is slowed down, it almost sounds like he's using those same groups of 4 note on the B string and then groups of 3 notes on the next two strings. Very bizarre but the lick falls nicely under this fingering/fretting.

The effect he's using, at least listening to it slowed down over and over, sounds like an auto-wha/envelope filter.
